If you’re an engineer working on a problem and you’re stumped by your technical problem, chugging caffeine at your desk and chaining yourself to your computer, you’re going to be really frustrated. You’re going to waste lots of time. You may look productive, but you’re actually wasting time. Instead, at that moment, you should go for a walk. You should play some ping-pong. You should find a way to relax.

Songwriters Against Monsanto
I have no idea who Michael Hurley is but I love his project. He’s inviting songwriters to submit anti-Monsanto songs. If you are a musician, or know one, think about it. BTW, the graphic was borrowed from an article at Climate-connections.org, which, if you harbor Suspicions about Monsanto, will only feed your fears.

I want YOU to stop being AFRAID of other Americans of other religions of other classes of other nations of speaking out. You’re Americans. Act like it! If you don’t get it, ask an American who does. Let’s change “Americans” to “Human Beings” and make it viral!

Today there are more African-Americans under correctional control — in prison or jail, on probation or parole — than were enslaved in 1850, a decade before the Civil War began.
